A 20-year-old man is in jail after he got into an argument with his mother Sunday morning and she turned around and called police.
When officers arrived in the 2900 block of Bunker Hill, the 45-year-old woman came outside and told them he had been behaving erratically, he had a gun and she thought he had been involved in a number of crimes.
The officers went into the house northeast of 31st South and Oliver at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Nolte said.
“Inside, they found some property that matched up with a previous robbery,” he said.
There was “a fairly significant amount of marijuana” found with him as well, Nolte said.
He was arrested on the outstanding warrants and suspicion of drug charges and possession of a firearm by a felon.
