Pit bull among items stolen in Sedgwick County burglary

Someone stole a pit bull in a burglary Tuesday morning at a home in the 3400 block of South 231st Street West, a sheriff’s official said.

The pet, described as a red pit bull, was among losses totaling about $19,000, Sedgwick County sheriff’s Lt. David Mattingly said Wednesday.
