Police subdue man dancing on Kellogg; drugs found in his pocket

He wasn’t simply brave enough – or silly enough – to dance on East Kellogg on Sunday night.

He was too quick for the officers who responded to the incident to nab, Lt. Doug Nolte said. He also refused their commands to surrender.

The officers ultimately subdued him with a Taser and took him to Wesley Medical Center for observation.

The 33-year-old man was reported to be dancing in the street in the 7800 block of East Kellogg shortly after 6:30 p.m., Nolte said.

That’s just west of Rock Road near Towne East Square. Once he was subdued, officers found a small amount of marijuana in his possession.
