The Kansas Health Foundation is accepting applications for a spring round of recognition grants.

Applications must be for charitable projects that fit the foundation’s mission of improving the health of Kansans or deal with health policy and environmental initiatives, according to the foundation’s website.

To apply, organizations must be classified as tax-exempt, a government entity or a church, and they must be within Kansas or one of the following counties in Missouri: Jackson, Jasper or Newton. Missouri grant recipients must use the funds for projects in Kansas.

Grants can be up to $25,000 per organization. The deadline for applying is March 15.
