The Wichita Wings closed out the season with an 8-6 loss at Milwaukee on Sunday, dropping the Wings to 7-19 overall and cementing a second consecutive last-place finish in the Major Indoor Soccer League.
Tied 6-6 at halftime, Ian Bennett’s goal in the third quarter — his second of the game — held up as the game-winner for Milwaukee, the MISL co-champion with Baltimore.
The Wings have finished in last place both seasons since the franchise was revitalized after a 10-year absence.
