Wichita police are looking for a man who robbed a doctor and tied him up in his practice late Tuesday morning.
The suspect entered the 73-year-old doctor’s office at 2620 E. Central shortly after 11 a.m. wearing a black ski mask and carrying two knives, Lt. Doug Nolte said. He tied the doctor up and put a pillow case over his head.
He then stole the doctor’s wallet and cellphone and took money from the practice’s cash drawer, Nolte said. He is about 5-feet-6 with a medium build, the doctor told police.
Along with the ski mask, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Anyone who was in the area of the practice late Tuesday morning is encouraged to call 911, Nolte said.
