Power at Wichita State University has been fully restored, so night classes will be held Wednesday, school officials said.
Westar Energy workers found a switch that was malfunctioning, company spokeswoman Erin La Row said.
Power was restored for the entire campus about 3 p.m., WSU spokesman Joe Kleinsasser said.
A power outage hit most of the campus shortly after 8 a.m., but it was restored intermittently for parts of the campus. Classes continued to be held throughout the day.
