Shockers head to Arkansas for baseball

Wichita State will travel to Arkansas to resume its snowbound baseball season.

The Shockers will play five games from Thursday to Sunday in Little Rock and Conway. This weekend’s home series with Fordham is canceled.

WSU (1-3) will play Arkansas-Little Rock at 4 p.m. Thursday. On Friday, it plays Western Illinois at 11 a.m. in Little Rock.

Saturday, WSU plays New Orleans at noon at Central Arkansas in Conway. It plays Central Arkansas at 4 p.m. The trip concludes with a 10 a.m. Sunday game against Iowa at Little Rock.
