Here are some of the weather cancellations and postponements announced Friday.
• Saturday school at Heights, North, Northeast and West high schools and Truesdell Middle School has been canceled this week.
• A Saturday forum hosted by the Sedgwick County Republican Party for Wichita City Council candidates has been postponed and will be rescheduled before the April 2 general election.
• The Arkansas River Coalition’s float on the Kansas River near Junction City and Manhattan has been rescheduled from Saturday to April 6.
• Waste Management is asking customers to bag their trash, and drivers will gather all extra bags on the next scheduled pickup day.
