Country star Jason Aldean, who had last year’s highest-attended concert at Intrust Bank Arena, is returning for a concert on May 9, the venue announced Friday morning.

Aldean will bring his “Night Train Tour” to Wichita with opening acts Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 1 and will be $28.75 and $54.75. They’ll be available at the Intrust Bank Arena box office, at Select-A-Seat outlets, at selectaseat.com or by calling 316-755-SEAT.

Aldean is known for hits such as “Dirt Road Anthem” and “Fly Over States.” His sold-out show in March of 2012 drew a crowd of 13,759, outselling acts such as George Strait, Carrie Underwood and Tom Petty that year.
