Wind chills will be below 0 on Friday in the Wichita area as the clean-up from one of the strongest snow storms to hit the city gains momentum.

Forecasters say temperatures will top out in the upper 20s under sunny skies today, with west-northwest winds occasionally touching double digits.

The snowpack and clear skies will allow temperatures to plummet into single digits overnight, with readings recovering to the low to mid-30s on Saturday. Skies will remain clear, with winds shifting to the south and remaining light.

Sunday should be warmer still, forecasters say, with temperatures climbing into the low 40s. But clouds will be moving in, bringing with them a chance for rain or snow Sunday night into Monday.
