AT&T: More than $725 million invested in Kansas networks in three years

AT&T said it made more than 250 wireless network upgrades in Kansas in 2012.

In a news release this week, the telecommunications giant said those upgrades included activation of new cell sites, upgrades to cell sites for its 4G LTE service and deployment of high-capacity ethernet connections to cell sites.

The company said it spent more than $725 million in its Kansas wireless and wireline networks between 2009 and 2012.
