Wichita State University officials, who shut the campus down Thursday, will decide later today whether to do the same Friday, university spokesman Joe Kleinsasser said.

WSU officials are watching today’s snowfall, which is predicted to continue much of the day. A decision won’t be made about Friday until probably this evening, Kleinsasser said.

Classes and most activities at WSU are canceled for today. Offices are closed. Call 316-978-6633 or visit http://www.wichita.edu for updates, Kleinsasser said.

The women’s basketball game with Evansville will be played as scheduled at 7:05 p.m. in Koch Arena, he said. The Evansville team was already here when the snow arrived, he said.
