KanCare meetings canceled because of snow

Nearly all of the educational meetings scheduled for Medicaid beneficiaries to learn about the state’s new privatized program, KanCare, have been canceled due to inclement weather.

All Wednesday meetings in Colby and Great Bend have been canceled. The 1 p.m. session in Fort Scott will still be held, but the 6 p.m. session is canceled. The meetings in Olathe are still scheduled to take place.

All meetings scheduled for Thursday in Wichita, Emporia, Hays and Atchison also have been canceled.
