Welcome back, Nino

Nino Williams hasn’t contributed much since the beginning of conference play, but came off the bench and had 15 points and five rebounds in 23 minutes of action against West Virginia. “He’s had some struggles and hasn’t gotten a lot of minutes,” Weber said. “But tonight he got his opportunity and took advantage of it.”

Worth noting

Rodney McGruder became the first K-State player to eclipse 1,400 points, 600 rebounds, 150 assists and 100 steals in his career.…Angel Rodriguez had his sloppiest game in a while, losing six turnovers. But he made up for them by sending out seven assists and scoring 11 points.…K-State’s fans next game at Texas on Saturday will only be televised by the Longhorn Network, which isn’t available on most national satellite and cable TV providers.
