An overnight shooting in south Wichita left one man with critical injuries, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said.
The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of South Rutan, near Hillside and 31st Street South.
Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Services transported the man to Wesley Medical Center in critical condition, the dispatch supervisor said. She did not know his age or the extent of his injuries.
Police released no details about the shooting during their Saturday briefing with news media.
