Sedgwick County sheriff’s deputies wrote more than 30 tickets for seat-belt violations during a four-hour period last weekend, the sheriff’s office said Monday.
The deputies conducted a saturation patrol from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, resulting in citations for33 adults for not wearing their seat belts. One ticket was written for a child not being properly restrained in a car seat.
In addition, 23 tickets were written for other offenses. One person was arrested for DUI and another arrested for weapons violations.
