Authorities Monday released the name of a 42-year-old Wichita man killed Friday afternoon in a collision with a semi on Broadway near 119th Street South.
The man who died is Christopher R. Ivy, said Sedgwick County sheriff’s Capt. Annette Haga.
The SUV that Ivy was driving north on Broadway crossed the center line at about 3:45 p.m. and struck the semi head-on about 200 yards north of the Sedgwick-Sumner County line, authorities said.
The driver of the semi had minor injuries.
