The crime

Sometime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Jan. 15, a burglar broke into three homes, including one in the 3800 block of 103rd St. South. The burglar forced entry into each through a door and stole guns, electronics, jewelry and cash. Total loss and damage is estimated at $7,000.

A home surveillance system captured images of a person of interest sought for questioning in the case. He is a black man, around 5-foot-9, of average build, with short hair and a goatee. He was wearing a leather jacket, black ball cap, blue jeans, plaid shirt, glasses and an earring in his left ear.
