KanCare meetings planned across state

Educational meetings about the state’s new privatized Medicaid program, KanCare, will be held throughout the state in February, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment announced in a news release.

These are the first educational meetings since the program launched Jan. 1.

The Feb. 21 Wichita meetings will be held at the Wichita State University Metroplex, Lowe Auditorium, 5015 E. 29th St. North.

Meetings will be held twice at each location, once at 1 p.m. and another at 6 p.m.

Meetings will be held in the following cities:

• Feb. 18 in Dodge City, Manhattan, Winfield and Topeka

• Feb. 19 in Garden City, Salina, Parsons and Kansas City

• Feb. 20 in Colby, Great Bend, Fort Scott and Olathe

• Feb. 21 in Hays, Wichita, Emporia and Atchison

Transportation to meetings is not available.
