Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation has given Butler Community College a $20,000 grant that integrates oral health into Butler’s Early College Health Sciences Academy program, the college said in a news release.
The academy is made up of high school students preparing for a career in healthcare while taking college courses while still in high school. The grant will help support curriculum development, specialized equipment and scholarship support for students in the program.
