Wichita City Council candidates to speak at lunch on Friday

Candidates in two primary races for the Wichita City Council for will speak during the Wichita Pachyderm Club’s luncheon on Friday.

The event starts at 11:45 a.m. on the ninth floor of the Bank of America building at 100 N. Broadway. Cost to attend the meeting, including a buffet lunch, is $10.

The primary election will be Feb. 26 with the two highest vote-getters advancing to the general election.

Candidates invited include:

•  District 3: Incumbent James Clendenin, Clinton Coen, Mary Dean.

•  District 4: Josh Blick, Jeff Blubaugh, Craig Gabel, David Glover
