Thin Mints are only days away for Girl Scout cookie fans

Wichita-area Girl Scouts will begin selling cookies Saturday — and this year you won’t have to wait weeks for your Thin Mints and Caramel deLites.

Officials with Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland say scouts will be out in uniform beginning Saturday. Unlike previous years, they will have packages of cookies on hand: No more taking orders, waiting weeks and then returning to deliver cookies and collect money.

Cookies are $3.50 a box. New this year are Mango Cremes, a crispy cookie with a tropical flavor. Cookies are sold for six weeks every year.

To find cookies in your area, visit kansasgirlscouts.org or call 888-686-MINT.
