Seminars launched to train Butler County business owners

Several groups are launching a two-month training program for small business owners in Butler County.

The Wichita State University Center for Entrepreneurship, Butler County Economic Development, NetWork Kansas, Augusta Progress Inc. and El Dorado Main Street are starting a training program for future or current business owners. Those who complete the training receive a certificate.

Classes begin this week and run from 8 to 11:30 a.m. over the next 11 Fridays at the Public Safety Facility, 2100 N. Ohio, Augusta. The cost is $200.
