A man suffered critical injuries after he was stabbed early Saturday in west Wichita, a Sedgwick County dispatch supervisor said.
The stabbing occurred sometime after 2 a.m. in the 300 block of North Edwards, the supervisor said. That’s northwest of Meridian and Second Street.
The man was transported to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis for treatment, the supervisor said.
Further details were not immediately available Saturday afternoon, Wichita police Sgt. Steve Yarberry said. More information may be released Sunday during the media’s regular news briefing with police, he said.
