Cat show next weekend at the Cotillion

Exotic breeds, household pets and rescue cats will be on display Feb. 2 and 3 as Wichita Cat Fancy presents its winter cat show.

The show, which features cat judging, cat products for sale, cats available for adoption and information on caring for feral cats, runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 2 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Cotillion, 11120 W. Kellogg.

Admission to the show is $5, $3 for seniors and children ages 6 to 12, or $10 for a family pass that’s good all weekend.

For more information, call 316-773-3964 or go to wichitacatfancy.weebly.com.

Spay, neuter cats for $10 in Feb.

In an effort to get more cats spayed and neutered, Spay-Neuter Kansas and the RETAIN Foundation are offering special surgery rates during the month of February.

During the “Have a Heart for a Cat” campaign, people with a gross household income of less than $40,000 a year can get their cat spayed or neutered for $10. Low-cost vaccinations will also be available at the time of surgery at the Spay-Neuter Kansas clinic, 319 S. Hydraulic. The offer is limited to two cats per household and the first 300 people to respond.

To make an appointment, call 316-263-4200. If there is no answer, leave a message and the call will be returned.

Westminster watch party to benefit SCART
