Since President Obama and Democrats want to ban assault weapons, what category would the guns he sent to Mexico fall under?

If there were an armed intruder on a shooting spree at your kids’ school, would you want him to have a couple of pistols with a couple of 10-round magazines, or would you prefer he had an AR-15 with a couple of 30-round or 100-round clips?

Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s new war on guns includes a ban on thumb holes in gun stocks. You won’t need a calculator to figure out how many lives that will save. It is just gun haters’ idiocy.

Doesn’t the NRA really stand for the National Redneck Association?

First-time jobless claims are at a five-year low. The Dow Jones industrial average is at a five-year high. Wait – wasn’t the Obama administration supposed to be destroying the economy?

After Lance Armstrong’s doping confession, folks are going to sue him over his book for peddling fiction as fact. I have watched Fox News before, and I think I might have a very good case. Any lawyers out there interested?

Regarding the comment that “we did not cause the country’s debt. Why do we now bear the burden?”: We all need to understand that our single vote or lack of vote carries a consequence. We keep sending the same tax-and-spend people to Washington.

The liberal backlash was swift when golfer Phil Mickelson complained about his 60 percent combined tax rate. The 1 percenters should never do this. They should just shut up and be glad their taxes aren’t even higher.

Ronald Reagan reminded me of Abraham Lincoln. Barack Obama reminds me of Jimmy Carter and Herbert Hoover.

If Republicans are for defunding public programming, or public anything else, they have my vote. Let those who want it pay for it.

There’s no need for 98 percent of Americans to subscribe to the Wall Street Journal. According to this newspaper, if you don’t make at least $180,000 per year, you don’t exist.

Who would have thought that getting hit in the head time after time would be bad for you?

We need to hear what the medical profession has to say before the Kansas Legislature allows the use of medicinal marijuana. Ask your family physician about medicinal marijuana. If approved, would only registered pharmacies be allowed to fill a prescription written by medical doctors for medicinal marijuana?
