A Feb. 7 preliminary hearing date was set for all six defendants.

Police said Lindsey was a business partner for a short time with one of the suspects. They co-owned an automotive shop in west Wichita.

Wichita police said Lindsey, 34, was killed on the night of Jan. 11. Police said his body taken to a wooded area near K-96 and Hillside and dragged into the brush.

His body was found on the morning of Jan. 16 by surveyors who were driving by the area. His girlfriend, who told authorities she last saw him alive Jan. 11 at a west Wichita business, had reported him missing Jan. 13.

Police have not released a motive or cause of death in the case. They also have not released where Lindsey was killed.
