AT&T said Thursday afternoon that it has resolved problems with its wireless service.

The outages were reported earlier in the day and appeared to be widespread.

The telecommunications company said in a statement e-mailed to the Eagle that the problem, for which no cause was given, affected customers in Kansas and Missouri.

“Earlier today, some customers in Kansas and western Missouri may have experienced issues with 3G wireless services,” the statement said. “AT&T technicians quickly worked to resolve the issue, and service is currently running normally. We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers.”
