For the third time in three weeks, police say, burglars have struck at a Z Wireless store in Wichita.

The most recent crime occurred shortly before 4 a.m. Wednesday at the branch at 10410 W. Maple, Lt. Doug Nolte said. The store is just west of Maize Road on Maple.

The burglar broke through the glass door and tried to take a television down from the wall, Nolte said. He was unsuccessful and left empty-handed.

Someone also broke into the Z Wireless branch on Greenwich Road in east Wichita last week, and Nolte said another branch was burglarized the week before.
