Two more people have been arrested in connection with the death of Shawn M. Lindsey earlier this month, Wichita police said Monday.

That raises the number of suspects arrested in the case to four, Lt. Doug Nolte said.

Lindsey’s body was found in some brush near a frontage road not far from K-96 and Hillside on Wednesday morning. Two people were arrested late Friday night and booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder.

The third and fourth suspects were arrested late Sunday, Nolte said. A 28-year-old man was arrested at a residence in southeast Wichita and booked into the Sedgwick County Jail shortly after 12:30 a.m. Monday, records show. A 37-year-old man was booked into jail shortly before 3 a.m. Monday on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Two men, ages 37 and 31, were arrested late Friday night, jail records show.

Lindsey was last seen alive by his girlfriend late on the night of Jan. 11 at a business in west Wichita, police have said. She reported him missing two days later.
