A Wichita man was taken to Wesley Medical Center on Sunday afternoon after he was shot in the leg, according to a 911 dispatcher.
The shooting was reported shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of South Pershing, near Oliver and Lincoln.
A woman called 911 and said her husband had been shot, the dispatcher said.
Wichita police are investigating the shooting.
