“The NRA will continue to focus on keeping our children safe and securing our schools, fixing our broken mental health system and prosecuting violent criminals.” Did it really say this? The NRA has never focused on children, safety or mental health.

While the debate on gun ownership is sensitive for obvious reasons, it should be remembered that the Second Amendment was not written to protect the individual’s right to hunt. Read Janet Napolitano’s comment on the subject before her political appointment.

A spanking has never hurt these bullheaded kids who won’t pay attention at all. I’m not saying beatings, but a pop on the rear end never hurt any kid’s life. Kids don’t take their parents seriously nowadays. What’s going to get their attention?

Manti Te’o’s dead girlfriend hoax story smells like a whale that has been on the beach for a week.
