Wichita fire crews are on the scene of an apartment fire in the 1400 block of North Kansas, according to Sedgwick County dispatch.

A 911 dispatch supervisor said reports indicate the building, a one-story fourplex, is vacant. No victims were found after firefighters searched the apartment, she said.

The building is located east of I-135 and 13th Street.

Fire crews reported seeing smoke and flames rolling from the building when they arrived but got it under control quickly, authorities say. The fire was called in around 5 p.m. Tuesday.
