The Rapid City Rush beat the Thunder 3-1 on Saturday night in Rapid City, S.D.
The Rush scored the only first-period goal, then took a 2-0 lead while shorthanded midway through the second period. Wichita’s R.G. Flath made it 2-1 with a goal at 13:32, but that was the Thunder’s only goal on 43 shots. For the second straight night, Rush goalie held the Thunder to one goal.
The Thunder played three games in Rapid City this week, winning 3-1 on Tuesday and losing 3-1 on Friday and Saturday.
The Thunder, which has played six consecutive road games, will return home Friday night and play Tulsa.
