Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost will speak at Wichita State’s First Pitch Banquet on Jan. 28 in the Koch Arena practice gym.
The event begins with a social hour at 6 p.m. The dinner begins at 7. WSU baseball coach Gene Stephenson will preview the season. Former Shockers Mike Pelfrey and Andy Dirks are scheduled to appear.
Team awards from the 2012 season will be presented.
