Thunder beats Rush 3-1

Ian Lowe scored a goal in each of the first two periods, leading the Thunder to a 3-1 victory over the Rush on Tuesday in Rapid City, S.D.

Lowe scored the only goal in the first period, the broke a 1-1 tie with his goal at 16:44 of the second. Gregor Hanson’s empty-net goal in the final minute locked up the win.

Thunder goalie Torrie Jung made 22 saves.
