A forum to discuss the number of minority youth in the state’s juvenile justice system will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at Wichita State University’s Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 5015 E. 29th North.
The forum will discuss the preliminary findings of a research study, allow residents to voice their thoughts and concerns and then help determine intervention strategies.
The program is sponsored by the Kansas Juvenile Justice Authority and the Kansas Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.
