Salina man killed in collision with semi near Fredonia

A Salina man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Wilson County on Sunday night, authorities said.

Zachary Eytcheson, 32, was driving west on U.S. 400 northwest of Fredonia shortly before 9:30 p.m. when his Infinity G6 drifted across the center line and sideswiped an eastbound semi, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported. Eytcheson was killed in the collision.

The driver of the semi, 56-year-old Stanley Ditges of Offerle, was not injured.
