A fundraiser Friday in downtown Wichita will raise money for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, an internationally accredited guide dog school dedicated to enriching the lives of blind and visually impaired people.

“Guiding Paws” is from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. at Mead’s Corner, 430 E. Douglas, and will feature several bands and performers, including Red Eye Rising, Aaron Lee Martin and Sean McCoskey.

Special guests will be Andrew Crane and his guide dog, Orzo. Crane, who was born blind and has cerebral palsy, will talk about how Guiding Eyes for the Blind and Orzo have enabled him to enjoy and active and independent life.
