Kansas foreclosure rate falls

The percentage of Kansas homes in foreclosure fell during the year ending Dec. 1, and is now at 1.4 percent of all homes with mortgages, according to the real estate analysis firm CoreLogic.

The state had 2,752 homes go all the way through foreclosure and be auctioned off during those 12 months, one foreclosure for every 111 homes with a mortgage.
