Brahmas beat Thunder 4-2

Fort Worth held the Wichita scoreless in the final two periods and Brahmas beat the Thunder 4-2 on Monday night in Fort Worth.

The Thunder led 2-1 after the first period, thanks to power-play goals by Dave Inman and Les Reaney.

The Brahmas scored twice in the second period — a shorthanded goal by Calin Wild and a power-play goal by Shawn Szydlowski — and grabbed a 3-2 lead by 13:01 of the period. Fort Worth added an even-strength goal midway through the third period to complete the scoring.

The Thunder outshot the Brahmas 24-14 in the final two periods but were outscored 3-0.

Monday was the first of a six-game road trip for the Thunder.
