Brittany Chambers scored 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds to help Kansas State defeat UC-Santa Barbara 60-45 on Saturday in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Ashia Woods, former Wichita Collegiate star, added 11 points, four rebounds and four assists for KSU.
UCSB scored the game’s first nine points, before K-State responded with a 24-5 run to take control.
Kansas State (9-3) shot 52.3 percent from the field and hit eight of 10 free throws. The Wildcats forced 23 turnovers, resulting in 33 points.
K-State concluded nonconference play with a 9-3 record. The Wildcats begin Big 12 action Wednesday at Kansas.
