A brother and sister who live together got into an argument late Friday that led to a stabbing.
Wichita police Sgt. Scott Brunow said the disturbance broke out between the brother, 47, and his sister, 39, at around 11 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Dodge.
Brunow said the sister struck her brother with hammer and stabbed him in the chest with a knife during the fight. The brother was taken to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in serious condition.
The sister was arrested and booked for aggravated battery.
