Pretzel the Wallflower, a 4-year-old female Pembroke Welsh Corgi mix, is available for adoption from Kansas Humane Society.

Hi, I’m Pretzel and I’m here to be your best friend. I would love to go on walks with you and sleep by your side. I really like being around people and playing with toys. I bet we could go on a quite a few fun adventures together. You should visit me at KHS.

Also available:

• Roscoe the Wallflower, 1-year-old male miniature pinscher mix

I might just be the perfect little dog for you. I’m a happy, energetic little guy on a mission to make you my number one priority. I like going on walks, snuggling for naps, and whatever you like doing.

• Fuzzy the Sidekick, 4-year-old male cat, domestic medium-hair mix

Hi, I hope you like to play. I’m a big fan of playing. I also hope you don’t mind me sleeping in the same spot on the sofa for a while. I bet we’ll have a blast together. You should come down to KHS and visit with me.

•  Reed the Kitten, 4-month-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

I’m quite the active cat. I like playing with mice-shaped toys, but my favorites are the moving strings. You should come to KHS and visit with me today. We can have lots of fun growing up together.

•  Seamus the Personal Assistant, 3-year-old male cat, domestic shorthair mix

I’m a sociable cat and I have quite a few stories to tell you. But I’m not all about talking. You can tell me all about your long day at work and I’ll give you some great cat advice. Visit me at KHS today, and we can start hanging out right away.
