Thunder’s Erick Lizon promoted to American Hockey League

Forward Erick Lizon became the Wichita Thunder’s first player called up this season when he was obtained by the American Hockey League’s Oklahoma City Barons.

Lizon, 27, has 230 penalty minutes in 89 career Thunder games and this season is second in the Central Hockey League with nine major penalties.

He’s expected to be in uniform for Oklahoma City’s game tonight against the Texas Stars.
