Wichita police said Thursday that they are investigating four robberies since Wednesday morning.

As of Thursday morning, investigators don’t know of any connection between the robberies, police Capt. John Speer said. No one was injured.

The most recent robbery occurred shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday in an apartment complex parking lot at 1157 S. Webb, when unknown suspects in a white Jeep followed two men into the parking lot and used a shotgun to the rob them, Speer said. The victims were 20 and 44.

About 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, an unknown suspect used a gun to rob the Family Dollar store at 355 W. 21st St., he said.

At about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, an armed robber took money from the register at the Presto store, 3311 N. Rock Road, he said.

At about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, a man went into Johnson’s General Store, 5400 N. Meridian, and demanded money, Speer said. A clerk called 911, and officers found the 27-year-old suspect in the store and his stolen vehicle outside, Speer said. Police booked the man into jail on suspicion of attempted robbery.
