Charity

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation has awarded more than $149,000 in Healthy Habits for Life grants to schools in 55 Kansas counties, including to 39 schools in Butler, Harvey and Sedgwick counties.

Bank of America has awarded a $5,000 grant to Fundamental Learning Center to create the Future Workforce Teen Program, which is aimed at helping break the cycle of low-literate teens.
