Five people allegedly passed more than $25,000 in counterfeit, forged checks in Johnson County

Overland Park police are seeking help to identify five people who allegedly passed counterfeit and forged checks across the metropolitan area.

Police released surveillance photos of four men and one woman who allegedly presented the bad checks at financial institutions in the Kansas City area. The fraudulent activity has exceeded more than $25,000.

Anyone with information on the identity of the men and women are asked to call Overland Park police at 913-344-8750 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).
