The new Walmart in Goddard is set to open 8 a.m. on Jan. 11.

The building is basically done, and crews are working to finish some interior work and landscaping. They also are stocking shelves.

The store at the southeast corner of Kellogg and 183rd Street is 121,100 square feet and will carry a full line of groceries. It will carry automobile supplies, but it will not have tire, lube and express automobile service.

The store has filled its roughly 190 positions, but is still accepting applications for later.
